Norton Mobile Security includes several groovy features including Anti-Theft, Anti-malware, call blocking, and web protection. Norton says that its software can find your phone when you lose it, lock your phone if you think it’s stolen, and protect you from unwanted calls or texts. It sounds good in theory, but from a free Norton app, is it too good to be true? According to my testing…. yes. The first screen you see when loading the Norton Mobile Security app shows right away that half of the features advertised won’t be available unless you upgrade to the “Full Version....

We first heard a report of an ‘entry-level’ 13-inch MacBook back in January. That was backed by Ming-Chi Kuo in March, who suggested that it would be branded as a new MacBook Air … A couple of reports suggested that the machine would debut in June, which obviously didn’t happen. What’s been reported so far is that the machine would have a lower price than the current MacBook Air, which starts at $999, and have a Retina display....

American Horror Story: Hotel had a lot to live up to. With the departure of fan-favorite Jessica Lange, the show had big boots to fill and they managed to surpass expectations with the inclusion of Lady Gaga’s iconic character, The Countess. The final episode is one of the series’ strongest season finales, with a heart-warming ode to Denis O’Hare’s Liz Taylor. There were many highlights throughout Hotel, but like any AHS season, it raised several mysteries....

Previous years were not good for PDF users, as several vulnerabilities were published, such as buffer overflow vulnerability in versions prior to version 9. A lot of the attacks were observed trying to abuse the bug by using social engineering or by hosting malicious PDF files on the Internet. Just the simple act of opening the PDF file could exploit a vulnerability to automatically download malicious code from the internet, and display a decoy PDF file to trick you into believing that nothing wrong has happened....

Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story on FX helped launch the recent trend of anthology series that tell a distinct story in a new setting each season, with largely the same cast portraying different characters. The cable network is hoping to find similar success with the producer’s upcoming series American Crime Story (not to be confused with ABC’s similarly titled anthology American Crime), which tackles the infamous O.J. Simpson trial in its inaugural season starting in February....

In 1993, a new children’s program premiered on Fox Kids. It was called Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and it was pretty unique. Incorporating stock footage from a Japanese show called Kyōryū Sentai Jūrenjā with new live action and dubbing, it told the story of five very different teenagers from the city of Angel Grove who became super heroes. When the world was threatened by an alien sorceress named Rita Repulsa, the five teenagers were given the ability to become the Power Rangers and fight her....

While FX’s American Horror Story has always had a passionate fan following, the series has also always had a good amount of detractors. Whereas many fans revel in just how creatively bonkers AHS seasons often get, many detractors find the show to be tonally all over the place, and sometimes downright hard to follow. Perhaps the most divisive AHS season to date was last year’s season 6, which some viewers found to be a refreshingly original change of pace from previous seasons, and others found to be a confusing experience where character motivations sometimes seemed to flip on a dime....

From our Smartphone, we can visit an e-commerce store, select the products we want, enter our credit card information, and choose the shipment method. Because of this, there is hardly even a need to visit the traditional brick and mortar store. However, there is now even a newer method called the “Mobile Wallet” which is designed to make our online shopping experience even quicker and more efficient, with fewer clicks on the keypad and not having to enter our credit card number every time....

The cast for Ant-Man & the Wasp continues to grow, with new comic characters Bill Foster, Ghost, and Sonny Burch added. While Avengers: Infinity War has just wrapped shooting, the rest of 2017 will see Marvel continuing to work on the rest of their slate. Along with Avengers 4, the sequel to Ant-Man will begin filming soon for a 2018 release. So far, we don’t know much about the story. Luckily, we’ve learned plenty about the expanding cast of the new film....

Ant-Man 3 will reportedly begin filming in early 2021, according to actor Michael Douglas. Recently, it was announced that Ant-Man 3 is officially in the works with director Peyton Reed returning. When Marvel’s Phase 4 slate was announced at San Diego Comic-Con, the Ant-Man franchise was notably missing, and many began to speculate as to whether Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang would get another solo outing. Now it’s confirmed he will....

BMW made a controversial move last year, implementing an annual CarPlay subscription. Instead of a one-off option payment of $300, it made CarPlay a free option in the first year, but then charged $80/year to keep it active. It’s now reported that a second car manufacturer may be following BMW’s example … Motor1 this week suggested that Toyota might opt for the same approach with the new Supra. BMW claimed at the time that the annual subscription for CarPlay was good for customers as many lease a car for three years before upgrading to a new one....
