A recent IHS Markit analyst note says that lack of awareness of the benefits of smart home technology is holding back growth. Apple analyst Dan Ives at Wedbush today released a report indicating that Apple’s supply chain partners are increasing their production schedules and forecasts as Apple sees stronger-than-expected demand for the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. Quoting recent checks with the supply chain, Wedbush says that suppliers are already getting slight revisions higher. The production increases are apparently evenly split between the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Pro models....

AMC’s The Terror released a first look teaser and images from the upcoming miniseries event executive produced by Ridley Scott. It’s long been known that Google pays Apple a hefty sum every year to ensure that it remains the default search engine on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Now, a new report from analysts at Bernstein suggests that the payment from Google to Apple may reach $15 billion in 2021, up from $10 billion in 2020.
