Analog for Mac received an update today that includes the eight beautiful filters from Analog Camera for iPhone which we reviewed at launch last week.

If you haven’t already tried Analog for Mac, it allows you to edit and add filters with varying intensity, frame and crop, and share photos on your Mac to Facebook, Flickr, CloudApp, and other services. It’s a great time to try Analog for Mac as it adds new filters and drops its price in half for the next few days. Realmac Software certainly hasn’t been resting on its laurels. Just yesterday it put to rest any rumors that LittleSnapper for Mac was out of development with a teaser of its new name Ember 2.0. We already know that Clear for iPad is on its way and received major updates on the iPhone and Mac last month.

I have a feeling many users who have come to know and love Clear for iPhone and more recently Analog Camera for iPhone will discover Realmac Software’s apps for the Mac, myself included, as we see Apple’s infamous “halo effect” bring more and more iOS users to discover new apps on OS X.

Analog for Mac (which is usually $9.99) is available exclusively on the Mac App Store for special pricing at $4.99 through Sunday evening.
